I have been working in a website creation and computer support role for nearly 10 years. Having worked for a number of small to medium sized companies I know that a wide range of computing skills is more helpful than merely specialising in one area.
The experience I have gained from the companies I've worked for has forced me to be able to work in a pressurised environment where problems need to be fixed very quickly and where there is often no one else to give a helping hand. I became known as 'The Man that Can' in my last company by being able to sort out IT problems quickly.
As well as my computing interests, I play and teach the piano having studied music and maths at Keele university and have played solos with the orchestra there both in the UK and also on tour in the Czech Republic in 1998. I play the violin in the Ealing Symphony Orchestra and have also played the piano with them on a couple of occasions.
So that's me...briefly.
